  • Where are Skene Business Centres located?

    We have three Business Centres located in prime locations in the west end and city centre of Aberdeen with free on-site car parking and private gardens.  We provide a choice of private offices and therapy and treatment rooms to rent at 2, 3 & 7 Queen’s Gardens, 23 Rubislaw Den North and 50 Gilcomston Park (formerly known as 96 Rosemount Viaduct).

  • What size of offices and rooms are available?

    We provide a variety of sizes and types of offices and therapy and treatment rooms.  We have larger spaces for up to 15 desks or smaller rooms with one desk.  Many offices and rooms retain their original features and are available fully-furnished and equipped for an office environment. You may also bring your own furniture and equipment, and even decorate the rooms to suit your style.

  • What is the minimum term?

    Our standard minimum term is 6 months but we offer reduced rates for longer-term commitments of 12 to 24 months.  Depending on availability we may be able to accommodate short-term requirements.

  • How quickly can I move in?

    Offices and rooms are available for occupation within 24 hours of receiving a signed licence agreement.

  • What is included in the rent?

    Our rent includes utilities, housekeeping, reception service based at 7 Queen's Gardens and access to amenities such as private gardens, business lounge, waiting area, kitchens and shower room.

  • Do you offer car parking?

    We have free on-site car parking at all locations for our clients. Visitors can also benefit from free on-site car parking at Queen’s Gardens and Rubislaw Den North.

  • Do you provide any other services?

    We also have a Virtual Office service, which provides an ideal and cost-effective solution for clients who want to establish an office presence with a professional reception service and mailing address at short notice, but without having to rent an actual office.  We also offer a variety of meeting rooms to hire for internal and external clients for hourly and daily rates.

  • What is the history of Skene Business Centres?

    Skene Business Centres were established at 23 Rubislaw Den North in 1984 by Charles P. Skene CBE.


    The business centres expanded with the opening of 96 Rosemount Viaduct in the 1990s within the same building as Skene House Rosemount.


    7 Queen’s Gardens used to be the Osbourne Hotel in the 1960s but was converted into a family home, a photographic studio for Studio Morgan and corporate offices in the 1970s, and became a dedicated business centre in the 1990s.  We expanded into 8 Queen’s Gardens in 2016, opened 2 Queen’s Gardens in 2018 and added 3 Queen's Gardens to portfolio in 2023.


    Skene Business Centres are part of The Skene Group, which also comprises Skene House and Inchmarlo Retirement Village.
